Bloody Mary BBQ Sauce

This Kansas City-style barbecue sauce gets a zesty kick from Preservation & Co.'s All-Natural Bloody Mary Mix. Brush it over rich, meaty pork ribs, mop it over melt-in-your-mouth brisket or toss with crispy chicken wings.

Makes 2 1/2 cups



Heat canola oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, reduce heat to medium-low and sauté until the onions are soft and translucent, but not browned, about 8 – 10 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients, turn the heat down to low and let simmer for 30 – 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.

Pour the mixture into a blender or food processor and purée until smooth.
