What in the World is Violet Mustard?
Qu'est-ce que c'est? It's purple! This brilliantly-hued mustard—created by Kitty Keller of KL Keller Foodways and Market Hall Foods' very own Sandy Sonnenfelt—is an ode to the traditional moutarde violette of Limoges, France.
KL Keller Foodways' version gets its deep purple color from California Cabernet Sauvignon grape must. The must is blended with whole grain mustard seeds, a dash of vinegar and warm spices to create a robust mustard with a nuanced raisiny sweetness and a uniquely crunchy texture.

The KL Keller difference? More mustard, more flavor! Aside from using superb-quality ingredients, all KL Keller mustards feature a mustard seed density of 25–28%—that's about twice the seed density of most mustards on the market.
