Drink Your Chocolate

06 November 2014

Longing for the rich, thick hot chocolate she enjoys on trips to France, our friend and local producer Kitty Keller has created two new drinking chocolates in the European style (read: made with bits of 71% dark chocolate for an ultra-luscious sip). They are creamy and delightful and just the ticket when you crave a deeply satisfying chocolate dessert. Or snack. Or liquid meal.

with Spicy Espelette Pepper

Complex and soul-warming, this is one of the best spicy hot chocolates we've tried. A dash of Piment d'Espelette chile pepper from the French Basque Country adds subtle smokiness and a little kick that lingers in the mouth.

with Fleur de Sel Caramel

This intriguing hot chocolate gets a kiss of salty sweetness from pieces of real French caramel made with the famous Fleur de Sel de Guérande from Brittany. Dark chocolate plus salted caramel? Yes, please.

What's that? You want something sweet with your sweets?
