Arugula Parsley Pesto

This take on pesto from our sister business, The Pasta Shop, features peppery arugula with fresh parsley, lemon juice, capers and garlic. It's bold. It's zesty. It's great on everything. Stir the sauce into warm cooked pasta, toss with roasted potatoes or grilled summer squash, serve as a side for fish or slather on a roast beef sandwich.


  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, such as Séka Hills
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 packed cups arugula
  • 2 packed cups Italian parsley
  • 1/3 cup toasted almonds
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt & pepper


Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and hit the switch! Process until smooth and adjust seasoning to taste.
