Baked Bass with M~Ocean Spice Blend, by Pollen Ranch

The seven spices in Pollen Ranch's M~Ocean Fennel Pollen Blend bring a whole new dimension of flavor to succulent freshwater bass. (Serves 4)

Ingredients

  • 4 8-ounce freshwater bass fillets
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons M
  • Ocean Fennel Pollen Blend from Pollen Ranch
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 lemon wedges

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Place fillets in a single layer on a foil- or parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle 1 tablespoon oil over each fillet.

In a small bowl, mix together the M~Ocean Fennel Pollen Blend, salt and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over fish.

Bake about 20 minutes, until you can insert a knife into the fish without resistance and internal temperature reads 145°F. Serve each fillet with a lemon wedge.
